The Levenhuk Skyline BASE 50T telescope is a "basic" model in the Levenhuk Skyline BASE product line designed for beginning astronomers. This refractor is ideal for first astronomical observations: it is easy to assemble, the main accessories are already included in the kit, and it is easy to operate, even a child could use it. With the Levenhuk Skyline BASE 50T you can observe terrestrial objects, the Moon and the planets of the Solar System.
The Levenhuk Skyline BASE 50T telescope is a "basic" model in the Levenhuk Skyline BASE product line designed for beginning astronomers. This refractor is ideal for first astronomical observations: it is easy to assemble, the main accessories are already included in the kit, and it is easy to operate, even a child could use it. With the Levenhuk Skyline BASE 50T you can observe terrestrial objects, the Moon and the planets of the Solar System.
The refractor lenses are made of glass and are fully coated. Thanks to this, the telescope produces a sharp and contrasted image even at maximum magnification. A 5x optical finder makes it possible to find celestial objects. The altazimuth mount requires no special skills to use the telescope and allows the telescope to be quickly aimed at the observed objects.
The kit includes a Barlow lens and four eyepieces: 150x magnification, 30x magnification, 48x magnification and 1.5x erect eyepiece. A diagonal mirror, necessary for terrestrial observations, is also included as an accessory. It allows to make observations in the usual way (with the image in the right position) as the telescopes invert the image. The diagonal mirror counteracts this phenomenon.
The telescope is mounted on a light aluminum tripod. The length of the legs is adjustable, allowing the telescope to be adjusted to the height of the observer. An accessory tray can be easily installed on the tripod. In it you can place additional eyepieces, a star map, a compass and any small objects.
