The Levenhuk Skyline PRO 80 MAK is wonderful for observations in the field, as you would have no problems transporting it and setting it up for your observations.
The lenses and mirrors feature a multi-coating that allows for maximum light gathering and increases their life span. The strong, lightweight aluminum tube is configured in an equatorial mount with slow-motion controls. You can also install the computerized equatorial drive system (purchased separately). It is equipped with graduated circles that, after a quick adjustment, allow you to locate objects by their celestial coordinates and track them with just a turn of an equatorial control. The height-adjustable tripod has a handy accessory tray where you can store all your tools. The focusing system features a standard T-mount, allowing you to attach an SLR camera with an adapter and use your telescope for astrophotography.
