Telescope Levenhuk Skyline Travel Sun 50

The Levenhuk Skyline Travel Sun 50 telescope is a compact and lightweight optical tool with quality glass optics. This universal model is also suitable for simple observations of the planets of the Solar System, terrestrial objects, the Moon and (only with a special filter), the Sun. This telescope allows observation of sunspots on the surface of the Sun. Great caution should be used when observing the Sun. Always be sure to have a solar filter firmly attached to the telescope tube. The filter should completely cover the aperture. Never look at the Sun and the bright area of the sky around you through the finder scope.

The lenses are fully coated with several layers of anti-reflective coating that minimize light loss. A quality diagonal mirror is included in the kit. It transmits a vertical (undistorted) image and refracts the optical axis of the telescope for observation of circumcircumcenital objects. The telescope comes with 45x and 18x eyepieces with a 1.25" diameter eyepiece tube. The kit also includes a 3x Barlow lens. Thus, you can get 135 magnification with the included accessories. The maximum practical power of this telescope is 100x magnification.

The Levenhuk Skyline Travel Sun 50 telescope includes a compact and reliable altazimuth mount. It is very easy to operate. Even a child can mount this telescope. A further advantage of this system is its light weight. The telescope has a handle for moving the telescope. The mount is attached to an aluminum tripod; its height can be adjusted from 40 cm to 125 cm.

You can begin observations immediately after taking the telescope out of the box: everything you need is already included in the kit. This optical tool requires no setup. The light weight of this telescope and the backpack included in the kit allow you to easily take it into the field or on a trip. The backpack is large enough to carry a telescope tube, mount, tripod and accessories.

Never look directly at the Sun without a special protective sunscreen - looking at the sun without a proper sunscreen can cause permanent eye damage, even total blindness!
