This special version of the famous PST telescope from CORONADO improves the contrast compared to the traditional version thanks to a reduced bandwidth of less than 0.5Å (Armstrong)

attention: the Malta tripod that can be seen in some images is not included as standard with the telescope, it must be purchased as an additional accessory!

The PST telescope (Personal Solar Telescope) was the latest of CORONADO's innovations. This small telescope is a further step in CORONADO's goal to make it possible for everyone to make observations of the Sun in a more special way. H-alpha systems with a bandwidth of less than 1 Armstrong have traditionally been prohibitively expensive for amateurs.

Systems designed by manufacturers other than CORONADO make them difficult to use because of the correlation between filter temperature and telescope focal ratio. The CORONADO PST not only has a wide bandwidth, but also a narrow bandwidth

The PST features the same technology and quality that is present in other dedicated solar telescopes of larger diameter, but only with features that allow this technology to be sold at a lower price than some high-end eyepieces. The CORONADO PST will show you bulges, flares, active regions, filaments, as well as surface granulation details.
