EFW filter holder wheel ZWO 5 positions 5x50.8mm (2")

This filter holder wheel is used. It has some aesthetic damage as you can see in the photos but otherwise it is in perfect condition and new. It is a new wheel that when tested in the workshop suffered a purely aesthetic scratch. Otherwise all the accessories are new and it was verified that its operation is correct.

The filter holder wheel is an interesting accessory for visual observation, but it is especially useful for astrophotographers, since it is possible to change the filter without having to remove the camera from the focuser. Another advantage is the protection for the filters provided by the filter wheel chassis against dust, moisture, shocks and scratches.

The body of the filter wheel is CNC milled from a block of aircraft-quality aluminum with an excellent finish, making it very thin and light: only 20 mm thick.

The central part of the EFW wheel is the high quality, reliable and high performance stepper motor, sourced from NPM, Japan.

The 2" electronic filter holder wheel can be rotated both counterclockwise and clockwise to select the filter.

There is no need for multiple cables to power and control this wheel, just one USB cable does all the work. The maximum power consumption of this EFW is approximately 120 mAh at 5 V, which can be operated from the USB 2.0 port of the cooled CCD.

When connected to the ASI6200, the distance from the filter to the sensor is approximately 18 mm.

It is recommended to use our 2″ RGBL filters with the ASI6200MM Pro camera, as they offer an almost 1:1:1 RGB color balance. However, the attached image shows requirements that must be met when using 2" filters from other manufacturers.
