Kirchoff-Bunsen Spectroscope OPTIKA SCIENCE.
With this apparatus it is possible to determine the spectrum of a monochromatic or polychromatic light source.
It is mounted on a circular metal platform and consists of:
- 1 collector with adjustable slit
- 1 scale holder collector with graduated scale
- 1 collimator with 2 interchangeable eyepieces
- Complete didactic guide
The slit of the collector has a small prism that allows to compare the spectra of two different sources. While the collector, equipped with an achromatic objective, is fixed to the platform, the collimator can rotate on an alidade maintaining the central directional axis.
The scale holder collector needs a small white light source to project the image of the graduated scale into the eyepiece of the collimator by reflection on one side of the prism. The latter is an equilateral prism of highly dispersive material.
We advise the use of interferential filters to ascertain the wavelength.
