Platypus 2 is the Seletekcontroller designed for remote operation.
With all the features of the Seletek Armadillo, plus network connection (Ethernet) and a third port for peripherals, it is the ideal controller to automate your observatory.
With the Platypusyou have all the functions of the Seletek Armadillo controlling up to 3 devices; focusers, rotators, filter wheels, all at the same time, directly via local network or USB.
Platypus supports simultaneous connections: it can be monitored from remote while the observatory computer executes its focusing tasks, etc... One computer can be connected by network and another by USB, or several by network... A whole range of possibilities at your fingertips to control your observatory remotely.
For your convenience, if you wish we can configure your internet address (IP), just tell us your IP, netmask and gateway. If you are going to install several Platypus in the same observatory (same network), let us know and we will avoid you having to configure the name of the controller in the network.
