This optical instrument is suitable for performing various complex microscopic studies and helps you to observe objects with a good degree of detail.
The microscopes of the Levenhuk MED 40 series are equipped with an infinity corrected optical system used in professional and high quality microscopes. This system includes infinity-corrected plano achromatic objectives that produce clear, high-contrast images with a high level of flatness.
One of the most important features of an infinity-corrected optical system is that it allows any additional elements to be installed in the path between the objective lens and the eyepiece lens. Additional elements include polarizers, epifluorescence light and DIC prisms that exhibit minimal focusing deviations and correct aberrations. In summary, their design and ease of use make the Levenhuk MED 40 microscopes ideal optical instruments for use in different types of microscopy and work in hematology, histology, microbiology and other laboratories.
The microscope is equipped with a binocular head that allows you to make observations with both eyes at the same time. The visual module has a comfortable 30° inclination. This ensures that the neck muscles do not get tired even after long hours of observation. The head can be rotated 360° around its axis, which is useful for group observations when several researchers have to study the same sample.
The kit includes optical accessories such as wide-field eyepieces and five flat achromatic objectives with infinity correction. The eyepieces have a 10x magnification, ensure a clear view and allow diopter adjustment. The objectives minimize optical distortion, enhance contrast and color, and produce a flat field of view. They are arranged in a revolving nosepiece for five lenses. The high-magnification objectives have retractable rims. The 100x objective allows for oil immersion observations. All optical surfaces of the accessories are protected with an antifungal coating. Sharpness is adjusted with the coarse and fine adjustment knobs
The stage is equipped with a mechanical micrometer and can be moved in two directions. The light source is located below the stage. It consists of a 5-watt LED with brightness adjustment. The light intensity is adjusted by an Abbe condenser equipped with an iris diaphragm. There is a filter holder.
The illumination is powered by an AC power supply.

Caution:
Refer to the specification table for proper mains voltage and never attempt to plug a 110V device into a 220V outlet or vice versa without using a converter. Remember that the mains voltage is 110V in the United States and Canada, and 220-240V in most European countries.
