The trinocular digital microscope Levenhuk MED D35T LCD is designed for professional research in medicine, biochemistry, classical biology and other scientific fields. One of the most important features of an infinity-corrected optical system is that it allows any additional elements to be installed in the optical path between the objective lens and the eyepiece lens. Additional elements include polarizers, epi-fluorescence light and DIC prisms that exhibit minimal focusing deviations and correct aberrations. The trinocular head consists of a binocular visual unit and a vertical tube to install a digital camera on it. The kit includes two 10x wide-field eyepieces with diopter adjustment, which are used for visual observations, and a 5 MP digital camera. The microscope does not need to be connected to a computer: the image captured by the objective lens is displayed on the built-in LCD screen. This LCD screen is used to configure all camera options (recording modes, storage spaces, etc.) and for image processing. The digital camera allows you to record videos and take pictures in high resolution. The camera also allows connecting additional equipment (keyboard, mouse, headphones, external monitor or TV), supports memory cards and other data storage devices.

The rotating revolving nosepiece of the microscope allows up to five objectives to be mounted. The kit includes infinity-corrected plan achromatic objectives of various magnifications. The optics eliminate chromatic aberrations, create a flat field of view and improve color reproduction. The high-magnification objectives are equipped with a retractable housing. The 100x objective can be used for oil immersion observations. Rough adjustment and fine adjustment of the focus is possible.

The specimens are arranged on a stage, which is equipped with a mechanical micrometer. The stage can be moved along two axes. Below the stage, there is an illumination unit consisting of a halogen lamp with brightness adjustment. There is also an Abbe condenser, which is equipped with an iris diaphragm and a filter holder. The illumination is powered by an AC power supply.
