The microscope Levenhuk MED 35B is a binocular microscope with plan achromatic optics and wide-field eyepieces. It is designed for professional observations and can be used for research in microbiology, biochemistry, medicine and other scientific fields. The microscope produces a high quality image without aberrations, provides a nearly flat field of view and allows setting the Köhler illumination.
The microscope Levenhuk MED 35B is a binocular microscope with plan achromatic optics and wide-field eyepieces. It is designed for professional observations and can be used for research in microbiology, biochemistry, medicine and other scientific fields. The microscope produces a high-quality image without aberrations, provides a nearly flat field of view and allows Köhler illumination to be configured.
The microscopes of the Levenhuk MED 35 series are equipped with an infinity-corrected optical system used in professional and high-quality microscopes. This system includes Infinity PlanAchromat objectives and enables clear, high-contrast images with a high level of flatness.
One of the most important features of an infinity-corrected optical system is that it allows any additional elements to be installed in the optical path between the objective lens and the eyepiece lens. Additional elements include polarizers, epi-fluorescence light and DIC prisms that exhibit minimal focusing deviations and correct aberrations. In summary, their modular design and ease of use make the Levenhuk MED 35 microscopes ideal optical instruments for use in different types of microscopy and work in hematology, histology, microbiology and other laboratories.
The binocular head allows observation with both eyes. Its 30° angle of inclination allows comfortable prolonged observations. In addition, the head can be rotated 360°, which is practical when working in a group. The wide field eyepieces provide 10x magnification, have diopter adjustment and allow working with large specimens. The revolving nosepiece contains five objectives. Some of them have a retractable housing. The 100x objective can be used for the oil immersion technique. All optical elements are protected with an antifungal coating. The optical sharpness is adjusted with the coarse and fine focus adjustment knobs.
Below the visual unit is a stage equipped with a mechanical micrometer. The specimens are illuminated from below with a 30-watt halogen lamp. The light passes through an Abbe condenser, in which an iris diaphragm is installed. A special holder allows light filters to be installed (three filters are included in the kit).
The illumination is powered by an AC power supply.

Caution:
Refer to the specification table for proper mains voltage and never attempt to plug a 110V device into a 220V outlet or vice versa without using a converter. Remember that the mains voltage is 110V in the United States and Canada, and 220-240V in most European countries.
