This microscope has a classic monocular head equipped with a wide-angle eyepiece providing 10x magnification. The head can be rotated 360°, and has an inclination angle of 30°. This design is practical for group research and long-term observations.
It has a revolving nosepiece for four objectives. Thanks to their achromatic optics, the objectives provide a sharp and contrasted image without aberrations. A 100x objective lens can be used for oil immersion observations. A bottle with immersion oil is included in the kit.
The mechanical stage is equipped with a micrometer which is convenient for comfortable working with microscope slides. Focusing is performed by means of coarse and fine adjustment controls. The focusing controls are located on the microscope body.
The illumination system consists of a halogen lamp under the stage and an Abbe condenser with an iris diaphragm. Light filters can be used to improve the contrast of the image obtained. A blue filter is included in the kit. The illumination is powered by an AC source; you can adjust its brightness, if necessary.
The Levenhuk 320 BASE is a powerful laboratory microscope for microbiological investigations of various levels of difficulty in scientific fields such as medicine and biology.
Caution: Remember that the voltage in the United States and Canada is 110V and in most European countries it is 220-240V. Consult the specification table for the correct voltage and never plug a 110V device into a 220V outlet or vice versa without using an adapter.

The Levenhuk 320 BASE microscope is compatible with Levenhuk digital cameras (sold separately). The Levenhuk cameras are installed in the eyepiece tube instead of the eyepiece.
