The model Levenhuk MED D45T LCD is a trinocular microscope with a 5 MP digital camera equipped with LCD. It is designed to perform visual observations by phase contrast, brightfield or darkfield, together with the use of oil immersion and Köhler illumination. In addition, this microscope allows taking photos and recording videos of the entire research process. This system includes infinity-corrected plano achromatic objectives that produce clear, high-contrast images with a high level of flatness.

One of the most important features of an infinity-corrected optical system is that it allows any additional elements to be installed in the path between the objective lens and the eyepiece lens. Additional elements include polarizers, epifluorescence light and DIC prisms that exhibit minimal focusing deviations and correct aberrations. The trinocular head consists of the binocular visual part and a separate eyepiece tube for installing the digital camera. The camera is included in the kit and allows taking pictures and recording high-definition videos. Images captured by the microscope objectives can be displayed on the camera's built-in LCD screen and on an external display or connected TV. There is no need to install software or drivers: the camera will start working immediately after plugging it in. In addition, external data storage devices, a headset, a computer mouse and other accessories can be connected to the camera. The trinocular head can be rotated 360° around its axis and the visual part of the head has a 30° tilt that makes it more comfortable to use.

The kit includes wide field eyepieces with 10x magnification. You can adjust the diopters to adapt the optical system to your eyesight. Rough adjustment and fine adjustment of sharpness is possible. The revolving nosepiece can accommodate five objectives, but the kit includes only four. These are phase contrast plan achromatic objectives that reduce optical distortion and improve color reproduction and image contrast. The 40x and 100x objectives have retractable rims. The 100x objective can be used for oil immersion observations. All optics are made of special glass with antifungal coating.

The stage can be moved along two axes and has a mechanical micrometer. Below the stage is a phase contrast condenser with darkfield (darkfield can only be used for the "dry" observation method), and below the condenser is an LED lamp with adjustable brightness. The illumination is powered by an AC power supply.

Caution:
