Trinocular microscope Levenhuk 1000T

Levenhuk 1000T is a trinocular optical microscope with Plan achromatic objectives, and possibility to configure a Köhler illumination. The microscopes of the Levenhuk 1000 series are equipped with an infinity corrected optical system used in professional and high quality microscopes. This system includes infinity-corrected Plan Achromatic objectives that produce clear, high-contrast images with a high level of flatness.

One of the most important features of the infinity-corrected optical system is that it allows any additional elements to be installed in the optical path between the objective lens and the eyepiece lens. These elements include polarizers, epifluorescence lamps and DIC prisms, with minimal deviations in focusing and aberration correction. In summary, their modular design and ease of use make the Levenhuk 1000 microscopes ideal optical instruments for use in different types of microscopy and work in hematology, histology and microbiology laboratories, among others.

The main component of this microscope is its lenses. The revolving nosepiece includes four achromatic plan objectives that improve color rendering, reduce spherical aberrations and correct field curvature (the total area of the flat field of view is up to 95% of the observed image diameter). A 100x magnification object allows observations to be made by oil immersion. The eyepieces provided offer a wide field of view and good visibility. The magnification range of the microscope is 40x to 1000x.

The trinocular head is provided with a separate optical tube to install a digital camera (available separately). You will need a camera to take photographs of specimens, create video files of your observations, and transfer images to an external display to show them to a larger audience. The head can be rotated 360° and the eyepiece tube is inclined at 30° for comfortable use during prolonged observations.

The microscope's illumination system is also a highlight. Observations are made by transmitted light (there is an LED at the bottom of the microscope). An Abbe condenser with an iris diaphragm and a light filter allow the Köhler illumination to be adjusted. The illumination is powered by an AC socket.

The mechanical stage is movable and its surface is protected by a graphite coating. Focusing is performed by means of coarse and fine focus adjustment controls. The controls are located on the body.

A practical protective case is included in the kit. The Levenhuk MED series includes optional accessories (purchasable separately) that allow you to expand the microscope's capabilities out of the box.

Caution:

• Consult the specification table for the correct voltage and never plug a 110V device into a 220V outlet or vice versa without using an adapter. Remember that the voltage in the United States and Canada is 110V and in most European countries it is 220-240V.
• Before starting, remove the locking screw that holds the platen and is located underneath the moving light source.

The Levenhuk 1000T trinocular microscope is compatible with Levenhuk digital cameras (additional cameras are sold separately). The Levenhuk cameras are installed in the eyepiece tube instead of the eyepiece.This microscope is also compatible with any other digital microscope camera.
