The model Levenhuk MED 40T is a trinocular microscope with an infinity-corrected flat achromatic optical system that can be used for professional microscopic studies with a magnification of 40x to 1000x. The microscope produces a clear, high-contrast image without distortion and allows the study of small structures in a completely flat field of view. It will be a perfect choice for a clinical diagnostic laboratory, scientific research center or educational institution.

The microscopes of the Levenhuk MED 40 series are equipped with an infinity corrected optical system used in professional and high quality microscopes. This system includes infinity-corrected plano achromatic objectives that produce clear, high-contrast images with a high level of flatness.
One of the most important features of an infinity-corrected optical system is that it allows any additional elements to be installed in the path between the objective lens and the eyepiece lens. Additional elements include polarizers, epifluorescence light and DIC prisms that exhibit minimal focusing deviations and correct aberrations. In summary, their design and ease of use make the Levenhuk MED 40 microscopes ideal optical instruments for use in different types of microscopy and work in hematology, histology, microbiology and other laboratories.
The trinocular head allows to observe specimens in the traditional way and simultaneously display images in real time on an external screen. The head consists of a binocular visual part and a separate tube where a camera (not included in the kit) can be placed. The visual module is inclined 30° to avoid strain on the neck muscles. The tube where a digital camera is installed is vertical. To facilitate comfortable group observations, the head can be rotated 360°.
The optical system consists of two wide-field eyepieces and five flat achromatic objectives. Observations can be made dry or by oil immersion (in the latter case the 100x objective is used). The eyepieces have a 10x magnification and allow diopter adjustment. The three higher magnification objectives are equipped with a retractable rim to protect the optics against incidental damage. All optical surfaces of the accessories are protected with an anti-fungus coating. Both coarse and fine focusing are possible.
Underneath the optical system is a stage equipped with a mechanical micrometer. Below the stage is an Abbe condenser with an iris diaphragm and filter holder. The specimens are illuminated from below with a 5 watt LED. The brightness of the illumination is adjustable. Köhler illumination can be used.
The illumination is powered by an AC power supply.

Caution:
Refer to the specification table for proper mains voltage and never attempt to plug a 110V device into a 220V outlet or vice versa without using a converter. Remember that the mains voltage is 110V in the United States and Canada, and 220-240V in most European countries.
