Microscopes of the series Levenhuk MED 30 microscopes are equipped with an infinity-corrected optical system that is typical of high-quality professional microscopes. This system includes infinity-corrected semi-flat objectives and allows for clear, high-contrast images with a high level of flatness.
One of the most important features of an infinity-corrected optical system is that it allows additional components to be installed in the optical path between the objective lens and the eyepiece tube. These additional components include polarizers, epi-fluorescence light and DIC prisms that exhibit minimal focusing deviations and correct aberrations. In summary, their modular design and ease of use make the microscopes Levenhuk MED 30 optical instruments are ideal for use in different types of microscopy and work in hematology, histology and microbiology laboratories, among others.
The microscope has a trinocular head, which consists of an upright tube for installing a digital camera (included) and a binocular head that allows observation with both eyes. The visual part has an inclination angle of 30°, the head can be rotated 360°. The microscope is practical for prolonged observations in group research work. The wide field eyepieces provide a good view and 10x magnification. They feature diopter adjustment, which allows the optics to be precisely configured for each user. The revolving nosepiece contains five objectives, three of them with higher magnification have retractable housings. The 100x objective can be used for oil immersion observations. All optics are protected with an antifungal coating.
The digital camera uses a 10 MP sensor, which allows taking high-resolution photos and recording videos with a high frame rate. The images captured by the camera are transmitted in real time to a computer via a USB cable, included in the kit. The CD included in the kit contains special software for processing images and configuring camera parameters.
The stage is equipped with a mechanical micrometer. Sharpness adjustment is made by turning the coarse and fine focus knobs. There is an Abbe condenser equipped with an iris diaphragm and a filter holder. The illumination system is located at the bottom of the microscope and consists of a 3-watt LED lamp with an additional lens for maximum brightness. Köhler illumination can be configured. Brightness is adjustable. Powered by AC power supply.

Caution:
Refer to the specification table for the proper mains voltage and never attempt to plug a 110V device into a 220V outlet or vice versa without using a converter. Remember that the mains voltage is 110V in the United States and Canada, and 220-240V in most European countries.
