The microscopes of the Levenhuk MED 30 series are equipped with an infinity-corrected optical system that is typical of professional, high-quality microscopes. This system includes infinity-corrected semi-flat objectives and enables clear, high-contrast images with a high level of flatness.
One of the most important features of an infinity-corrected optical system is that it allows additional components to be installed in the optical path between the objective lens and the eyepiece tube. These additional components include polarizers, epi-fluorescence light and DIC prisms that exhibit minimal focusing deviations and correct aberrations. In summary, their modular design and ease of use make the Levenhuk MED 30 microscopes ideal optical instruments for use in different types of microscopy and work in hematology, histology and microbiology laboratories, among others.
The microscope has a binocular head that can rotate 360°. Thanks to this head, you do not need to move the entire microscope if you want to show a specimen to a colleague: simply rotate the head. In this way, the optical settings are not accidentally altered. The viewing part has an inclination angle of 30°, which allows prolonged observations without neck muscle fatigue, allowing you to focus on your research.
The kit includes two 10x wide-field eyepieces with diopter adjustment and five semi-planar achromatic objectives of various magnifications. Three of the high-magnification objectives have retractable housings. The 100x objective is suitable for oil immersion observations. The optics of all accessories are protected with an antifungal coating.
The mechanical stage can be moved along two axes. In addition, it has a mechanical micrometer for precise positioning of the specimens under observation. There are controls for coarse adjustment and fine adjustment of the focus. Thanks to the smooth movement of the mechanisms, sharpness adjustment is quick and easy. There is an Abbe condenser equipped with an iris diaphragm and a filter holder.
The illumination system, with brightness adjustment, includes a 3-watt LED lamp and an additional lens for improved brightness. Köhler illumination can be configured. The illumination is powered by an AC power supply.

Caution:
Refer to the specification table for proper mains voltage and never attempt to plug a 110V device into a 220V outlet or vice versa without using a converter. Remember that the mains voltage is 110V in the United States and Canada, and 220-240V in most European countries.
