Trinocular biological microscope Levenhuk 870T

The trinocular biological microscope Levenhuk 870T can be used for brightfield observations. It is commonly used in various medical laboratories for clinical investigations in dermatology, biochemistry, cytology and other scientific studies. Due to the trinocular head design it can be converted into a digital microscope by adding a digital camera to the eyepiece.

The microscope head is tilted at 30 degrees and can rotate 360 degrees on its axis. The four rotating revolver lenses, Köhler illumination method, aperture adjustment and field diaphragms make this microscope a great tool for serious observations.

The stage (140x155 mm) moves on two axes. Focusing is achieved by rotating the fine or coarse focus wheels that raise or lower the stage bringing the specimen closer to or further away from the objective lens. Both focusing systems have smooth movements in 25 mm increments for coarse focus and 0.002 mm for fine focus.

At the base of the microscope is a 6V 20W halogen bulb that serves as an illumination source

Caution: Consult the specifications table for the correct voltage and never plug a 110V device into a 220V outlet or vice versa without using an adapter. Remember that the voltage in the United States and Canada is 110V and in most European countries it is 220-240V.

Trinocular biological microscope Levenhuk 870T is compatible with digital cameras Levenhuk (sold separately). The Levenhuk cameras are installed in the eyepiece tube instead of the eyepiece.

The microscope comes with two additional accessories for connecting to a digital camera: an extender tube and an extender tube. We recommend using these accessories when using short focus objectives to achieve better focus.
