Binocular microscope Levenhuk MED 10B

The Levenhuk MED 10B is a laboratory microscope with a binocular head. It is designed for professional work with microscope slides and can be used for various tasks in clinics, scientific centers, research or medical laboratories, and educational institutions. The microscope features achromatic optics that provide a highly detailed image without aberrations and a magnification of up to 1000x.

The binocular head is arranged with an inclination angle of 30°, which allows for comfortable prolonged observations. The head is 360° rotatable, which facilitates group work. When moving the entire body of a microscope, there is a risk of accidentally changing the focus of the optics or the position of a specimen. The rotating head avoids such situations.

The eyepieces and objectives are made of optical glass and have an antifungal coating. The eyepieces provide 10x magnification and a wide field of view that allows working with large specimens. The degree of magnification of the microscope is changed by turning a rotating revolver. The revolver has four pre-installed objective lenses. The 100x lens can be used for oil immersion observations (an immersion oil tube is included in the kit). The high magnification objective lenses are retractable.

Samples are arranged on a stage with the aid of a mechanical micrometer. The stage can be moved along two axes. There are controls for coarse and fine sharpness adjustment. The illumination system is located below the stage and consists of a 5 watt LED lamp. Its brightness can be adjusted. Between the lamp and the specimen, there is an Abbe condenser with an iris diaphragm and a filter holder.

The illumination is powered by an AC power supply.

Caution:

Refer to the specification table for proper mains voltage and never attempt to plug a 110 V device into a 220 V outlet or vice versa without using a converter. Remember that the mains voltage is 110 V in the United States and Canada, and 220-240 V in most European countries.
