The Levenhuk 2S NG allows brightfield observations of transparent specimens. Its 40-mm concave plane mirror provides sufficient light for observations, so this microscope can be used without connecting it to a power supply. This is the simplest and safest illumination system, so children can safely use this teaching microscope. The disc diaphragm allows you to control the light needed to study the specimen.

This monocular microscope has a single 16x achromatic objective lens that provides a clear view without chromatic or spherical aberrations. The head of this model is right on the stage, but for more comfortable observations both the head and stage can be tilted to the desired angle with the microscope arm.

The 100x90 mm stage is perfect for observations of one or two specimens. To prepare the specimen, place it on an empty slide and carefully cover it. The resulting preparation is mounted on the stage and secured with the clips. With the coarse focus knob you can focus the view by moving the microscope tube up and down (at 20 mm intervals).
