The model Levenhuk 900B is a binocular laboratory microscope with a powerful LED lamp and a magnification range of 40x to 1000x. The binocular head of the microscope is inclined at 30°, which is practical for prolonged observations. The achromatic optics provide a good view. Two of the objectives have a spring retraction mechanism to protect the front lens: these are the 40x and 100x objectives. Use the focusing knobs on the microscope body for coarse and fine focus adjustment.

The illumination system illuminates the stage below the stage. The specimens to be observed are arranged on the stage with the aid of a mechanical micrometer. The light beam is controlled by an Abbe condenser equipped with an iris diaphragm, while the illumination is powered by an AC power supply. The illumination source is a powerful 3-watt LED lamp equipped with a collector lens.
