The MESSIER MCX-127 telescope is your own small observatory with GoTo computer control. Simple to operate, easy to transport and universally usable.
Observe the Moon, planets, galaxies and nebulae throughBRESSER's Maksutov-Cassegrain optics, which have proven themselves for years. The main features of this optical system are a sharp, high-contrast image as well as its very compact and closed construction - a universal telescope for those who enjoy quick observations!
GoTo systems are important for astronomy enthusiasts, as they ensure that users spend less time searching for certain objects and more time with observation and photography. The BRESSER Messier GoTo control system allows you to operate the telescope with the included computer hand terminal. After entering basic data such as date, time and location, at least 1 known reference star is approached and confirmed. The desired objects can then be selected from among several thousand objects integrated in the database and the MCX telescope can locate and track them.
One of the outstanding features of the MCX telescopes is thevery sturdy aluminum fork mount and the universal stainless steel field tripod. Both guarantee secure support and minimization of unwanted vibrations during observation. In addition, the drives of both axes are equipped with precision ball bearings and precise steel/brass helical gears. This provides smooth and quiet star tracking.
With the included smartphone mount you can adapt your smartphone camera directly behind the SPL26mm eyepiece or mount your camera on the M35 threaded connection and take astronomical photos of the Moon and planets. You'll be amazed at what this MCX microscope is capable of with little effort. The 90° folding mirror at the rear of the telescope allows you to switch quickly and conveniently between using an eyepiece or a camera.
For following the stars with a telescope or camera, there is nothing to compare with the precision of a German equatorial or parallactic mount. It's all about tracking objects as accurately as possible when they rise in the east and set in the west. For users, with a German equatorial/parallax mount, it is very easy to keep the celestial object in the center of the eyepiece for a longer time. This setup option (EQ mode) is already included in the new MCX telescope. For this purpose, the polar wedge on the tripod head can be tilted accordingly and adjusted to the degree of latitude of your location. Therefore, you can quickly switch between these two types of installation (AZ/EQ), without having to buy additional accessories!
Of course, quick use of the MCX telescope without a tripodis also possible , only as a tabletop device!
This telescope has so many advantages that it is really worth the purchase. You will be thrilled!
