Very low dispersion optics and gradual zoom-type magnification
The spotting scope lenses are made of very low dispersion glass. They reduce chromatic aberrations and color halos at object outlines, which are common in low-priced optics. All optical surfaces are multi-coated and provide more natural color reproduction and a brighter image. The magnification power is variable within a range of 8x to 24x; the minimum focusing distance is 1.5 meters. The angled eyepiece of the spotting scope is convenient if you need to observe objects in high places, e.g., house roofs or birds in flight.
Water-resistant, nitrogen-filled body
The Levenhuk Blaze Compact 50 ED spotting scope is an all-weather optical instrument. The body is waterproof, so it is immune to rain or snow, and observations can be made under any conditions. The scope body is filled with nitrogen, which prevents the lenses from fogging. Therefore, the optics do not fog up during sudden temperature changes.
Possibility of mounting on a tripod for greater convenience
The spotting scope body is provided with a standard tripod thread. Mounting the spotting scope on a tripod allows for more stable images and reduces arm fatigue during prolonged observations.
