This compact yet powerful digital microscope is the perfect companion for close-up observation on the go. The built-in 3-inch TFT color LCD display flips out when you need it, then folds into the microscope body for perfect portability. A rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides hours of viewing in the classroom or on a nature walk. FlipView, with its 10x to 120x magnification is a low-power microscope perfectly designed to view a wide variety of 3D samples, from beach sand to insects, coins and stamps, documents, circuit boards and more.
With its built-in 5 MP sensor, FlipView offers the best resolution you'll find in a digital microscope Celestron. Combine that with the 5-element IR cut-off lens and you get sharp images and spectacular videos of your specimens. An adjustable 8 LED ring provides the perfect illumination for your shots.
Insert any Micro SD card (up to 32 GB) to save images and videos, or connect the microscope to your computer via the included USB cable and capture images using Celestron's Portable Capture Pro software. Or stream FlipView's view to a TV or projector with the included video output cable.
With one of Celestron's most versatile designs, FlipView can be used in three configurations depending on the sample you are viewing:
- Use it in handheld mode for quick and easy observations.
- Lift the attached base and FlipView sits on any flat surface. Perfect for viewing flat objects such as stamps, coins and more.
- For longer viewing sessions of 3D objects, mount FlipView to the included metal stand using the ¼-20 connector. The stand has two articulation points and can be adjusted to precisely aim at the subject.
