These binoculars are based on modern roof prisms that offer high light transmission. The Levenhuk Vegas ED 8x32 is more compact and lighter than similar binoculars from other brands. They offer all the optical functions of professional lenses. All optical elements are made of very low dispersion glass and protected with several layers of coating. The four-element eyepieces are important parts of the optical design of this model.
The frame is made of anti-shock plastic that protects the lenses from accidental impact. The binoculars do not slip out of the hands, can withstand falls from small heights and also withstand sudden changes in temperature. The binoculars' structure is filled with nitrogen, a harmless, colorless and odorless gas that prevents the lenses from fogging. Their airtight design provides a high level of water resistance. You can drop the binoculars in water up to 1.5 meters deep for up to 3 minutes.
Despite its compact size, the Levenhuk Vegas ED 8x32 can be adapted to a tripod. The standard 1/4" thread is covered with a tripod socket cap that does not disturb the hermetically sealed structure.
