The Levenhuk Heritage PLUS 8x30 binoculars are perfect for field observations and outdoor measurements. Inside there is Russian optical glass with ruby coating, millimeter scale and high aperture objective lenses. On the outside there is a body made of aluminum alloy and coated with rubber that makes the binoculars immune to shock, moisture or temperature extremes. These binoculars are a good choice for hunting or precision shooting.
Russian-made optics with ruby coating
The Levenhuk Heritage PLUS 8x30 binoculars are designed by the company Levenhuk in cooperation with the optical-mechanical plant in Kazan (Russia), which is one of the main suppliers of the Russian army and formerly of the Soviet army. This plant was established in 1940 and has been supplying optical observation instruments for 70 years for military tactics in open terrain. Russian glass manufactured for the weapons industry to the highest quality standards is recognized worldwide. The ruby-coated optics significantly increase the contrast of images in low light conditions (on a cloudy day, in the twilight hours or before dawn).
Reticle
The reticle is used to determine the distance to the observed object or target. It is necessary to know the height and width of the object. The distance is calculated according to special measuring scales in the right eyepiece. The measuring procedure is described in the user's guide.
Rubber-coated aluminum body
The body is made of aluminum alloy and is protected by a rubber coating that ensures a firm grip and prevents the binoculars from slipping out of your hands. The Levenhuk Heritage PLUS 8x30 binoculars are immune to accidental drops to the ground and vibrations. The seals are sealed with a special substance that prevents dust and water from accumulating inside the binoculars. The optical and mechanical components withstand extreme temperatures in the range from -40 to +50 °C.
Other features
These binoculars use the classic central focusing wheel. The eyepieces are made of rubber. The right eyepiece is equipped with a diopter adjustment ring. The interpupillary distance is also adjustable.
