Marine binoculars Levenhuk Nelson 7x50 will be an excellent choice for a fisherman or a marine sports enthusiast. They have a large aperture, 7x magnification and a wide field of view that allows you to comfortably observe large objects. Their 50 mm aperture lenses collect a large amount of light; thanks to this it is possible to make observations during twilight.
An integrated rangefinder and a compass with diode illumination are integrated in the housing. The graduated scale of the rangefinder can be seen from the eyepieces; it allows you to measure the height of the observed objects or how far away they are, so that you know their position. The diode light requires two batteries. The compass indicates in which direction the object is; each division corresponds to 1°; north corresponds to 360°, south is 180°, east is 90° and west is 270°.
The rangefinder is used to calculate the distance to the observed object or its size. If one of the parameters is known, it is possible to calculate the other using a special formula, entering the information provided by the rangefinder into it.
The optical design uses Porro prisms. The optical components, made of BaK-4, minimize aberrations and transmit a sharp image with saturated colors. The multi-coated lenses substantially reduce light loss.
The housing is waterproof and made of durable plastic, with a rubber coating to protect the binoculars against accidental impact. Nitrogen filling prevents the lenses from fogging up with sudden changes in temperature. The Levenhuk Nelson 8x30 Marine binoculars come in a waterproof floating body: if accidentally submerged in water they will not sink and the lenses and prisms will not be damaged. Add the Levenhuk FS10 floating bright strap to these binoculars and they will never get lost!
