The binoculars use the classic Porro prisms, so the light loss inside the binoculars is reduced to practically zero. The optics are made of fully coated BK-7 glass and offer true-to-life images with natural colors.
The Levenhuk Atom 8x40 binoculars can be adjusted to the individual user: the interpupillary distance can be set between 56 and 72 mm and the right eyepiece has a diopter adjustment ring. The eyepieces have soft rubber eyecups. The rubber body cover prevents dust or dirt from entering the body.
