The new binocular head Auriga Bino Viewer differs from the classics in its ability to adapt to all instruments, without the need for correctors. Simply focus to obtain the same magnification as with the eyepiece because the returned image is already corrected, allowing you to use your instrument (also Newton) to obtain impressive terrestrial or celestial binocular views.
Binocular head Auriga Bino Viewer
The new binocular head Auriga Bino Viewer represents a true revolution in the world of amateur and professional visual astronomy: it has been conceived down to the smallest detail in order to provide a quality product that is reliable over time and compatible with any instrument you own, both now and in the future. Until now, most of the binocular heads on the market did not allow the use with instruments with a short focus travel, such as Newtonian telescopes, and it was really difficult to find a head on the market that would allow a fruitful observation without the need to buy expensive correctors to lengthen the focus of the telescope. Often, these correctors excessively modify the effective focal length of the instrument, introducing artifacts or optical aberrations, due to the geometries used. For this reason, our binocular head Auriga Bino Viewer comes equipped with an effective and high performance corrector that allows the use in all possible optical schemes on the market: short focal length refractors, Schmidt-Cassegrain, Newtonian and Maksutov-Cassegrain. Forget about annoying lateral and longitudinal chromatic aberrations or ghost images that disturb the view of the beauties of our Cosmos.
- Straight images: The binocular head Auriga Bino Viewer returns straightened images without the need for image rectifiers or 90° diagonals. Because the resulting image is straightened, you can also enjoy exceptional land-scape observations. Simply insert the Binoview head into the 31.8 mm eyepiece holder, carefully tighten it, insert your eyepieces and enjoy the vastness of the Universe. The free aperture of the prisms is equal to 17.3 mm, so truly unforgettable observations await you.
- Efficient Quick Lock system : Do you have large and heavy 31.8 mm eyepieces and want to use them with the binocular head Auriga Bino Viewer? The convenient and effective Quick Lock system on each of the two eyepiece holders allows a secure grip of either eyepiece on each barrel. Simply loosen the clamping ring, insert the eyepiece and retighten the ring to lock the eyepiece in the desired position with ease, thanks to the knurled knurling that allows a secure grip on the rings.
- Diopter adjustment: Diopter adjustment on the Auriga Bino head is made by simply turning the right eyepiece left and right. Dioptric adjustments of up to +/- 4 are possible. Anyone, even people with large dioptric differences, can use their telescope in binocular viewing without any problems.
- Interpupillary distance adjustment: Adjustment of the interpupillary distance is possible by simply acting on the two optical trains of the head. The adjustment allows the head to be used for observers with a range of interpupillary distances between 58 mm and 74 mm.
- Airtight hard case: The Auriga Bino Viewer binocular head is supplied with a convenient hard case with adjustable internal padding, allowing you to transport your Auriga binocular head and several pairs of eyepieces, regardless of their size. A cleaning cloth and instruction manual are also included.
