The solar filter from Levenhuk for 130 mm reflecting telescopes is made from a special film for visual observations, Planetarium AstroSolar. This film blocks 99.999% of the Sun's light, completely eliminates harmful radiation and allows safe observation of the Sun. The surface of the film Baader Planetarium is uniform, without bubbles or other defects, allowing sharp and clear images to be obtained through the filter. The quality of the film is comparable to that of a glass filter and reproduces colors perfectly. When the Sun is observed through this filter, the image appears neutral white.
How to choose the right telescope solar filter
When choosing a solar filter it is necessary to consider other factors in addition to the optical design and aperture of your telescope, as the filter must not only fully cover the objective lens, but also fit perfectly into the microscope tube. It is also recommended to fix the filter in the optical tube with adhesive tape to prevent it from moving accidentally during observations.
The main factor in choosing the right solar filter is the diameter of the telescope tube/shield, which should correspond to the inner diameter of the filter (in case the filter is to be fitted to the outside of the tube) or to its outer diameter (in case the filter is to be fixed to the inside of the tube). Before purchasing this filter measure the tube diameter of your telescope and make sure that it matches the values in the specification table.

This sunscreen is suitable for the following telescopes from Levenhuk:
Telescope Levenhuk Skyline 130x900 EQ
Telescope Levenhuk SkyMatic 135 GTA
Telescope Levenhuk Skyline 120x1000 EQ Telescope
This filter can also be used with telescopes from other manufacturers with identical design and tube diameter. We recommend that you check the inner and outer diameter of the optical tube of your telescope before purchasing the filter.
cAUTION! Never look directly at the sun, even for a moment, through the telescope or finder without a professionally created filter that completely covers the front of the instrument, as permanent eye damage may result.
