Product Details

Passive tracking system for Dobson Geoptik Nadirus Push-To 12"

The Nadirus Push-To system is a passive (non-automatic) pointing and tracking system that can be adapted to any type of Dobson and that allows the observer to control the telescope (always manually) with extreme precision because it is assisted by a software able to decode in real time even the smallest movements of the instrument and, therefore, to give precise indications to the observer on how to operate in order to keep the object being observed always in the field of view.

Unlike other passive tracking systems, the Nadirus Push-To uses only one encoder to be placed at the base of the instrument. For the second movement no encoder is needed because it is obtained electronically.

Once installed, the encoder is enough to be connected by a cable to the controller box and powered (a small 5V power bank can be used)

At this point, once installed the SkySafari app (paid version) on your device (smartphone or iPad), simply turn on the system and connect via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi (only for iOS Wi-Fi)
