Screws TS with knob for easy collimation of Celestron SC and EDGE HD telescopes
These screws will allow you to easily collimate the traditional CELESTRON Schmdit-Cassegrain telescopes and also the new EDGE HD telescopes. In the style of the famous BOB KNOBS these screws allow you to collimate in the field without the use of tools. Just with your hands and very easily you can perform the collimation.
When you install them, do not change all three at once. Do the operation one at a time for maximum safety and to minimize the collimation you may cause when installing them.
Spacers are supplied to be used correctly for each installation. The configurations for each tube are shown below:
♦ C5: 2 spacers per screw
♦ C6: no spacers
♦ C8 without Fastar: 2 spacers per screw
♦ C8 with Fastar: 1 spacer per screw
♦ C8 Edge HD with/without Fastar: no spacer
♦ C9.25 w/o Fastar: 1 spacer per screw
♦ EHD925 w/o Fastar: 1 spacer per screw
♦ C11 w/oFastar: no spacer
♦ EHD1100 w/o Fastar: no spacer
♦ Currently no compatibility with EHD925, C9.25, EHD1100, C11 w/Fastar.
