Product Details

M48 adapter allows connection of Canon EOS R and EOS RP system cameras to the T2 bottleneck-free telescope
♦ Camera side of connection: Canon RF mount, male

♦ Connection telescope side: female thread M48x0.75

♦ Very short design, with the flange focal length of Canon R and RP cameras (20mm) can make a very close connection with the telescope. Working distance from M48 thread to camera sensor is only 29.8mm

♦ There is enough space for filter holders and filter drawers

♦ Filter holder for 2" filters, 360° rotation and possible quick coupling at a working distance of 55 mm

TS T-Ring to M48 for Canon R cameras
The T-Ring from TS-Optics allows the connection of the new Canon R, RP and Ra full-frame mirrorless cameras to your telescope. With the Canon R, you can achieve a distance of 29.8 mm from the M48 thread to the sensor. The bottleneck caused by the T2 thread is avoided, as this would shade the full-frame sensor at the edge and cause vignetting.

2" filter holder, quick release and 360° rotation - suggested adapter
Most correctors have an M48x0.75 connection thread and a working distance of 55mm. So you can place the EOS R exactly in the distance. In addition, you also get:

♦ 2" filter thread option
♦ Practical 360° rotation for the correct image section
♦ Quick release, in seconds you can remove the camera, e.g. to change batteries.
♦ When removing the camera, the inside of the camera is always protected by the filter
