The ZWO TC40 tripod is a lightweight and sturdy model, equipped with carbon fiber legs, perfect for traveling amateur astronomers. Weighing only 2.3 kg, it can support a maximum load of 50 kg. Its size is small; it measures only 50 cm long when folded. Its top plate has a standard tripod screw thread (3/8"), as well as several attachment points and threaded holes for attaching mounts of different brands such as iOptron, Sky-Watcher or Rainbow Astro. It is therefore an excellent alternative to traditional tripods for amateurs who want to build an ultra-portable setup.
