The 290 Xtra is a 3-section tripod, the largest in the 290 range, with aluminum leg tubes and a superior structure that enhances rigidity, durability and performance. The tension of its leg section locking levers can be adjusted so that they can be tightened to counteract any effects of age or use, thus keeping the tripod fully functional throughout its long life. A key feature of this tripod is the ability to position the legs at four different angles to maximize creativity in our shots. Its fast central column adds flexibility by extending the maximum-minimum height. A new rubberized heater ensures a comfortable grip and maximum ergonomics. The tripod is delivered with a dedicated shoulder bag that ensures comfortable portability in any situation.

The 290 Xtra comes as a kit with a center ball head specifically designed for its compact size and portability. Its wide spherical movement coupled with its quick release hot shoe mechanism allows for fast and easy framing. The head, which incorporates a 200 PL hot shoe, is made of aluminum and features built-in friction control to help photographers make the most precise adjustments to their compositions even with heavy equipment.
