The MK190XPRO3-3W kit consists of a 190XPRO3 aluminum tripod with 3 leg sections with advanced features and excellent build quality, together with the MHXPRO-3W X-PRO 3-way head with quick release. Both the tripod and head are designed and manufactured in Italy by Manfrotto.
The key feature of the 190XPRO3 is its 90° center column mechanism, which allows the column to be extended vertically as normal, or horizontally, opening up a wide range of framing and shooting possibilities; this feature makes the 190XPRO3 an extremely versatile tripod, suitable for a wide variety of photography and video applications. The horizontal column positioning mechanism is housed inside the tripod's upper structure for a more compact size, and extends quickly and easily when needed. Switching from vertical to horizontal column requires no disassembly, and can be done even with the camera mounted.
The legs of the 190XPRO3 tripod also extend very quickly, thanks to the Quick Power Lock section-locking lever system. The special design of the QPL levers allows for a more comfortable and safer leg section locking/unlocking action, even with one hand and in a single movement. The QPL system design also offers stronger locking of each section, which means the tripod is more stable and rigid than traditional designs. The leg angle selectors are intuitive and ergonomic, so that each leg can be independently and solidly set at any of the preset angles, allowing considerable positioning freedom.
A spirit level is also incorporated at the top of the center column for more precise framing. This level rotates absolutely freely around the center column, so it can be positioned in the easiest way to observe while adjusting the tripod, without being obscured by the head or camera.
The 190XPRO3's upper frame has an Easy Link connector to easily add photo or video accessories (such as an LED light, flash, reflector, or any other equipment) mounted on an extension arm or bracket, thus turning the tripod into a handy mobile studio.
The X-PRO 3-Way head has retractable levers that make it ultra-compact, and also incorporates new dual-axis friction controls to help balance the weight of the camera, so you can make very fine framing adjustments with the panning levers open, then lock the controls completely once you're ready to shoot.
