It utilizes large, easy-to-grip knobs that provide smooth, smooth, geared controls through 360° and +90° -30° front and side tilt.

In addition to its 3-D geared functions, the 405 from Manfrotto also incorporates a unique feature that allows you to instantly disengage the gears and adjust the approximate camera position by hand, then instantly reset the gear function for precise final alignment.
