The 190CXPRO4 is a lightweight and rigid 3-section carbon fiber leg tripod with advanced features and excellent build quality, designed and manufactured in Italy by Manfrotto.
The key feature of the 190CXPRO4 is its 90° center column mechanism, which allows the column to be extended vertically as normal, or horizontally, opening up a wide range of framing and shooting possibilities; this feature makes the 190CXPRO4 an extremely versatile tripod, suitable for a wide variety of photography and video applications. The horizontal column positioning mechanism is housed inside the tripod's upper structure for a more compact size, and extends quickly and easily when needed. Switching from vertical to horizontal column requires no part disassembly, and can be done even with the camera mounted.
The 190CXPRO4's four-section legs achieve a truly compact size: along with the height savings achieved with the horizontal column mechanism, the four-section legs help reduce the length of this tripod when folded by 16cm compared to previous 190 models, an extra that traveling photographers will appreciate. These legs also extend very quickly, thanks to the Quick Power Lock section-locking lever system. The special design of the QPL levers allows for a more comfortable and safer locking/unlocking action of the leg sections, even with one hand and in a single movement. The QPL system design also offers stronger locking of each section, which means the tripod is more stable and rigid than traditional designs. The leg angle selectors are intuitive and ergonomic, so that each leg can be independently and solidly set at any of the preset angles, allowing considerable positioning freedom.
A spirit level is also incorporated at the top of the center column for more precise framing. This level rotates absolutely freely around the center column, so that it can be positioned in the easiest way to observe it while adjusting the tripod, without being obscured by the head or camera.
The upper frame of the 190CXPRO4 has an Easy Link connector to easily add photo or video accessories (such as an LED light, flash, reflector, or any other equipment) mounted on an extension arm or bracket, turning the tripod into a handy mobile studio.

CREATIVE ADJUSTMENTS
An innovative mechanism allows the vertical column to move to a horizontal position for increased shooting flexibility. This 90° pivoting mechanism of the central column is one of the keys to making the 190 more compact when folded. The mechanism for positioning the column horizontally or vertically is hidden inside the tripod's upper structure when not needed. In combination with the new top disk of the center column, the new mechanism considerably reduces the length of the folded tripod
EXTENDED EXPANSION POSSIBILITIES
Following the example of our professional equipment lines, the new 190 includes the Easy Link connector at the top of the tripod, allowing you to expand the shooting possibilities by attaching an LED light, reflector or any other accessory, transforming the 190 into a mobile studio
