Uncomfortable conditions such as sand and salt on the shore, the tilt of a tripod or contact with a hard, sharp object can damage the most sensitive area of a spotting scope, the objective lens or its coating beyond repair.

Protect your spotting scope

Damage to the objective lens can drastically reduce optical performance and is also responsible for the most costly repairs. This is especially true when the scope is equipped with a pure fluorite glass lens. Very often, the only option left is the complete replacement of that lens, which requires a lot of money. This type of damage is not covered by the manufacturer's warranty and may require a lengthy and expensive repair.

All current Kowa scopes are equipped with a thread for using protective filters. This protective filter fits the Kowa TSN-880 series, the Kowa telephoto lens and the Highlander binoculars.

Thanks to the nano-coating, the filter repels oil and water. The perfect accessory to extend the life of the viewfinder.
