Small Stratospheric Balloon Probe Kit
The set includes everything you need to successfully launch a stratospheric balloon.
The lightweight polystyrene probe offers enough space to send even several cameras into the stratosphere and protects the equipment from extreme temperatures. The rugged construction protects the technology during landing and the "wings" attached to the sides reduce rotational movement, resulting in sharper recordings. Gloves protect the delicate "skin" of the balloon during inflation. Also included is a GPS tracker for reliable tracking, as well as a weather balloon and corresponding parachute. With the help of the rope, both the parachute and the balloon and camera probe can be securely attached.
The breaking strength of the rope is the legally required 230 N. The additional battery pack also works in extreme temperatures down to -40°C, ensuring that the camera can record throughout the flight.
The approach has proven its worth, as so far all our flights have been made with these materials and all have gone according to plan. To complete the kit, and drawing on our accumulated experience, we have created a weather balloon manual. In this manual of almost 100 pages, enclosed free of charge and accompanied by numerous images, we explain the steps to follow in a stratospheric project from A to Z. To have the kit and the manual is to be perfectly prepared to carry out your own mission, as it shows you in detail how to successfully complete a stratospheric flight.
The only thing missing is the SIM card and the helium. You can get your hands on helium through gas distributors and in some DIY stores or hardware stores. If you have any doubts about the amount of helium you need, feel free to contact our technicians at Telescopiomania.

Description of the SPACE CAM with 64GB SD card.
The new Space Cam, with its significantly larger image sensor, delivers perfect and reliable images from the stratosphere. Sharp 4K video recordings at 60 frames per second provide incredible shots from altitudes up to 40,000 meters, allowing you to capture and compile high-resolution videos of the black of space and the blue of our planet into spectacular images. By recording at 60 frames per second, the possibility of in-flight shaking can be significantly reduced thanks to the image stabilizer, resulting in smoother shots. The extreme conditions of the stratosphere test action cams to the limit: compared to well-known manufacturers, the Space Cam is an extremely robust and reliable "Space Cam" at a fair price, extensively tested by Stratoflights in numerous test flights in the inhospitable environment of the stratosphere. Due to the extreme temperatures, the internal battery, like any other action camera, does not last long enough to capture the entire stratospheric mission: to provide sufficient battery power at temperatures down to -65°C to film even the landing of the probe, an additional battery pack capable of withstanding these conditions is definitely required. In addition, the action camera display is very useful for checking the field of view after installation on the stratospheric probe to capture optimal shots from space. By using multiple cameras, perspectives such as the balloon burst, a view of the horizon or a direct downward view can also be captured. To be protected against slipping inside the Styrofoam Probe at wind speeds up to 200 km/h, the Space Cam can be easily installed and securely fixed in the custom protective case in just a few steps, ensuring protection against overheating through the integrated air channels and dissipating heat into the interior of the Styrofoam Probe.
