Product Details

The level compass to help locate the polar with the VIXEN POLARIE is very easy to install for very accurate measurements: just set the altitude value for your location, point the level compass (Polar Meter) to north, level the compass until the bubble is centered and the Polar star is centered in the POLARIE's Polar finder. This new VIXEN device can be used with any instrument that has the camera accessory base (the same base used to attach external flashes, for example). Note that the camera accessory base must be aligned parallel to the optical axis of the objective lens.

Easy 3-step installation

Set the value on the altitude scale according to your location.
Point the bubble compass to north.
Level the compass until the bubble is centered.
The North Star will be visible through the Polarie's Polar finder.
