The POLARIE Star Tracker is a compact platform mount that allows you to capture images of nightscapes and stars with ease. It is very simple to mount and in a few minutes you are ready to capture wide field images.

The POLARIE attaches to a conventional camera tripod and accepts any digital camera weighing no more than 3Kg. Using the POLARIE's built-in compass, the mount can be oriented to north.

The POLARIE has a hole on the upper right side that acts as a window to align with the polar star.

As an optional accessory, the polar finder can be purchased, which will help to perform this operation in a more comfortable and effective way. Once aligned and mounted, the POLARIE will start tracking the stars by activating the internal motor. In this way, the stars will remain as points and will not be moved leaving a wake that would make the photo unsatisfactory.

Instead, in this way you can get crystal clear images of the Universe.The POLARIE uses high precision stepper motors and is powered by two AA type batteries.
