The Polaris is the world's first electric tripod head with an integrated camera interface controller. Polaris Astro Edition not only allows you to adjust the composition of a photo, but allows users to program the smart head to capture a series of photos, easily track and take long exposures of stars or create high-resolution motion timelapses. Polaris also offers a wireless connection so you can do all of the above remotely, as well as preview, review and download files via a dedicated app from almost anywhere.

The Polaris incorporates modes such as People Eliminator, Panorama, Motion Timelapse, Dynamic Exposure Timelapse, Focus Stacking and Star Tracking. With a battery life of over 24 hours and the ability to charge during use, the Polaris can shoot all day and keep shooting. These modes work with a wide variety of cameras.

Polaris also features a redundant, interchangeable microSD card slot to ensure that no images from a shoot are lost. It also allows Polaris to perform quick edits in the field. Polaris can render Pathlapses, Panoramas, etc., and quickly display the previously shot image on your phone.

To withstand demanding use, Polaris is made of aluminum alloy and stainless steel and is designed to work in the harshest environments. Thanks to its high-quality construction, Polaris has an IPX6 waterproof rating, allowing the head to operate even under torrential downpours. Despite its high-quality metal construction, Polaris weighs only 1.1 kg (2.5 lbs), and the Astro module adds only 0.4 kg (0.8 lbs) making this head a very capable tripod for everyday or travel. Even with its low weight Polaris can support camera rigs up to 7kg (15lbs).
