Sunspotter® Solar Projection Telescope

the Sunspotter® solar telescope is a revolutionary solar observation tool that allows you to safely and comfortably view the surface of our star, the Sun. You can follow the solar rotation, the position and development of sunspots, count and monitor sunspot groups (solar activity), and comfortably and safely follow the development of a solar eclipse.

The optical system is a Keplerian telescope installed in a wooden structure with a folded trajectory, which allows to see the Sun, eclipses, transits and also to follow the sunspots. It uses a series of mirrors to project a bright solar image of nearly 9 cm onto a 12 cm white viewing screen through a powerful 62 millimeter diameter lens. Sunspotter easily aligns to the Sun in seconds, without the hassle of complex telescopes, solar filters and tripods.
