Solar Filter AstroZap off-axis glass solar filter for 257-264mm tubes

Astrozap solar filters are the right choice for safe and spectacular solar observation and photography. These high quality solar filters mount an aluminum cell that is fixed and centered over the front aperture of the telescope with nylon screws.

Astrozap filters are the highest quality, longest lasting, maximum aperture glass solar filters known to Telescopiomania. The sun is seen in a detailed natural yellow-orange image. The filter can be used for both direct observation and photography.

With this filter the sunlight does not strike the secondary or the spider holding it, so there are no obstruction effects when using a reflecting telescope. This results in image quality similar to that of a refractor.
