Product Details

Baader Turbo Film is the highest optical performance non-glass sealing system currently available. Turbo Film is based on a highly homogeneous monomer, exactly the same as that used for the production of Baader's well-known ASSF films. This substrate has been refined using a deposition system developed exclusively for Baader Planetarium. Thanks to these careful treatments, a performance equivalent to that provided by optical glass windows with plane-parallel faces at 1/10 wave is achieved, all at a much lower weight and, especially, a much lower price compared to the aforementioned glass sheets.
