Full aperture glass solar filters fit telescopes, finderscopes and other optics.

They are safe full aperture solar filters (sometimes referred to as clear aperture).

Full Aperture Glass Solar Filters, compared to Off-Axis Solar Filters, allow much more light to enter the optic because the aperture size is similar to the aperture size of the telescope or binocular.

Full Aperture Glass Solar Filters are for visual observation or imaging and allow the best possible daytime viewing when atmospheric turbulence is minimal (but remember that there is often atmospheric turbulence). If there is turbulence, a mask can be placed on the end of the filter to reduce the aperture. In effect, it can easily mimic an off-axis solar filter.

This high quality solar filter has an aluminum cell that is secured and centered at the end of the telescope tube with nylon screws and felt padding. The clear aperture is made with hand selected and inspected high quality reflective coated glass.

This is the highest quality, durable, glass, full aperture solar filter on the market.

The filter can be used for direct viewing through a telescope or for photography.

The filter case is lined with foam to protect the filter and cushion it from shocks during handling. It is sturdy enough to store the filter while not in use.
