Camera ZWO ASI294MM-PRO monochrome

With these new cooled cameras, the Chinese company ZWO (Zhen Wang Optical) is expanding its range by offering new cameras for long exposure imaging.

The ASI294-Cool model is equipped with a 4/3 sensor (13x19.1) with 11 million pixels (4144 x 2822px).

Cooling below the ambient temperature of 35°C is obtained by the action of a Peltier module and a silent fan.

Equipped with a USB 3.0 port, the cooled ZWO cameras also allow planetary imaging at very high speed.

In the "Pro" version, this camera has a 256 MB buffer memory that considerably increases the sensor readout speed.

The ASI294MM-Pro sets the new standard for astronomical cameras.

Software

Drivers, acquisition software and user manual are available for download from the ZWO website.

The ASI294MC Pro is compatible with Windows, Linux, Arm-linux, Mac OSX. An ASCOM driver is available.

The AsiStudio software allows you to perform planetary acquisitions, long exposure, and electronically assisted astronomy through live stacking and even offers a tool for viewing Fits files.
