The Baader Vario-Finder lens is designed to work at high magnification. The optical design is based on the famous Carl-C lensZeiss and is tested to deliver a sharp Airy disk up to 120x magnification. This small 61 mm aperture telescope is much more than just a finder. It is designed to work as an optical finder, as a guide, as a high magnification spotting scope, or even as a portable astronomical travel telescope. High-quality 61 mm aperture, 250 mm focal length objective lens and Phantom Group TM optical coating. Lens locking ring for close focusing with 12 mm of shift. Focusing knob with 35 mm of travel with four lateral locking screws for use with heavy CCD guide cameras. 1_ eyepiece holder with compression ring and three locking screws. 45° erector prism with T2 thread and 1/4" adapter. 25 mm guiding eyepiece with illuminated reticle for measurements in 0.5 mm increments. Removable dovetail plate to adapt to the most common telescopes and _ thread to adapt to any photographic tripod.
