SkyWatcher 9x50 angled, erect-imaging finder with stand
With some instruments, looking through a straight finder is a sporting feat that requires bending over. This Sky-Watcher angled finder gives you a perfect view with unmatched ease of use. It contains Amici prisms that allow you to straighten the image, unlike conventional finderscopes where the image appears inverted (right/left) and reversed (up/down).
This Sky-Watcher finder is equipped with a 50 mm diameter, multi-coated, cross-linked, achromatic objective lens, an internal deflector and a focus adjustment ring. It is 2.78 times brighter than the 6x30 finder. When properly aligned with the tube, this fixed magnification refractor allows you to quickly center your target objects in the eyepiece. Aligning the finder scope is very simple, thanks to two nylon adjustment screws and a spring-loaded tensioner.
The finder is focused by screwing or unscrewing the objective, which is fixed with a counter ring to ensure a sharp image. The finder is supplied with a mount compatible with all Orion, GSO (Kepler) and Sky-Watcher bases.
ATTENTION. The finder shoe (female part attached to the tube) is not supplied, but can be purchased as an optional accessory.
