RÜDIGER VAAS is a science journalist and editor of the astronomy and physics sections of the popular monthly magazine Bild der Wissenschaft. He has an in-depth knowledge of modern cosmology, on which he has published philosophical writings and given lectures around the world.

GUNTHER SCHULZ has a degree in design and specializes in computer graphics for physics and astronomy. His illustrations have been published in numerous books. Visualizing scientific knowledge is for him a personal question. Among other projects, he collaborates with the Friends of the Mannheim Planetarium to establish a didactic planetary route in the heart of this German city.
